The Kiwanis Club of Chester received its charter on March 29, 1972. Comprised of dedicated volunteers, we strive to enrich the Chester community. Our core mission is to enhance the quality of life for children in the Chester area. We achieve this by leveraging the time, talents, and financial resources of our membership within an ethos of compassion, service, camaraderie, and continual learning.

Since our inception, we have steadfastly supported the Thomas Dale High School Key Club and contributed to various community organizations including the Chesterfield Food Bank Outreach Center, Christmas Mother, Chesterfield-Colonial Heights Alliance for Social Ministry (CCHASM), YMCA’s Bright Beginnings Program, the Terrific Kids Program at several local elementary schools, and the Chesterfield Police Department’s Police Activities League, which actively engages with youth in Chesterfield County.

Additionally, the Club proudly sponsors the annual Kiwanis Wine-Tasting Festival and the Kiwanis Christmas Parade. Furthermore, our Foundation will be awarding scholarships to deserving seniors at Thomas Dale High School, L C Bird High School, and Carver College and Career Academy who are pursuing vocational education or a college degree.
